Hoy! I haven’t posted on here in what feels like forrreeever and I’m happy to say I’m going to be posting a bit more now that I’ve found a path in my learning of game development beginnings and I plan to follow it very far.
I’ve chosen Python as my starting language and after looking it up and learning about it a little so far I’m just amazed that I didn’t look into it sooner. It’s been very simple so far which is exactly what I need starting off and I hear many people say it’s also still a very powerful and effective language despite its simplicity. Python, where have you been my entire life?!
Anyhoo, I’m going to be learning as much as I can about it and try to come up with some silly ways to practice with it and keep things fresh in my memory for long roads to come. I’ll be documenting my progress as I go and anything I end up learning that’s a useful tip I’ve discovered will end up here. This is mostly for my own benefit, of course. Reflecting on lessons you’ve learned recently by documenting them into some sort of journal helps lock them into long-term memory. However, in the case of anyone actually reading my findings I’ll try to make them interesting and full of any insight I may come across.
Thanks again to the few who have stuck with me during my long and unexpected absence. Let’s hope I have something worth your eyes taking time to scan over. It’s good to be back!
