Nol-Poly Lowpoly

Do you play Knights Chronicle?
Are you looking for a new guild?
Possibly one that’s laid back and friendly?

Come join the Bokaloid Guild! We have cookies and calzones! Our only requirement is that you’re active in either in-game chat or our Discord which you’ll get an invite to after joining :)

If you haven’t played KC, I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a mobile RPG to invest time in!

Halloween Candy

Posted some candy on Twitter for a Low Poly Daily challenge near Halloween and recently went back and added more to the scene to bring it all together.

I got stuck trying to figure out how to use particles to fill the bowl with candy and ended up having to duplicate all the candy individually (or rather with an array modifier) and make each a rigid body so that it all fell into the bowl to fill up properly.

Went back over this model because I felt it was pretty outdated looking and now he has arms! I think this is more in line with my current style so I’m very happy with the look of him now. It feels great to see the changes between old and new models :D

Rocket Sword

Was inspired by @mnrart ‘s speed modeling video where he modeled cute RPG-like weapons from scratch. Modeling from scratch and without references sounded fun and it turns out it’s very therapeutic

I have ideas for effects that make use of the name of the sword but I wanted to get to a certain point before diving into having to learn how to make those effects happen (if I ever decide to do it at all).

#2 in my two-color gradient challenge. A green to purple gradient easily means grapes.

This one was a lot less simple than I had originally thought but my OCD brain didn’t make it easy to call it done until every grape was lined up just right x.x

I started a personal two-gradient texture challenge to get back into the swing of things. Here’s #1 of hopefully fifteen!

The first gradient is red and blue but I couldn’t think of any fruit that was both colors at once so I went with a raspberry that comes in both color varieties (even if one of them is artificial ) so I made a hybrid I call a “blaspberry”.

Really late project for Low Poly Daily on Twitter where the theme was traffic. I feel like it’s been over a week since that day’s theme but I really liked the idea of bouncing traffic so I had to try it regardless.

I’m already seeing ways to fix it but I’m gonna call it done because I have other things I want to do.
